Five steps - the whole workflow lives in the iOS share sheet.
Open your ChatGPT conversation
Open the ChatGPT iOS app and navigate to the conversation you want to export.
Tap the Share icon
Tap the Share icon at the top of the conversation to open the iOS share sheet.
Select ChatExport
Tap ChatExport in the app row. If it's not visible, tap "More" to find and enable it.
Choose Markdown format
In ChatExport, select Markdown (.md). The app converts the full conversation to clean Markdown on your device - no upload, no waiting.
Save or send to your knowledge tool
Tap Share on the exported file to send it directly to Obsidian, Notion, iCloud Drive, or any destination. The file imports as a native note.

Obsidian
Move or AirDrop the .md file into your Obsidian vault folder. It appears immediately as a formatted note. Add [[backlinks]] and tags to connect it to your knowledge graph.

Use the Files share sheet to open the .md file with Bear. It imports as a new note with full formatting. Add tags to categorise it alongside your existing notes.

Must have utility for AI users
Really useful app. I use ChatGPT a lot and was tired of copy/paste and screenshots. This lets me export chats to PDF or markdown in a few taps and formatting stays correct (code blocks, lists, etc). Big plus for privacy - everything stays on my phone, no login, no cloud stuff. Simple, fast, does exactly what it says. If you save or share ChatGPT chats often, this is totally worth it.
